- Removal Steps

- Aluminum alloy window screen frames are equipped with rubber splines (insert strips). First, carefully extract the rubber splines using a specialized tool (e.g., spline roller or flathead screwdriver). Once the splines are removed, the old window screen can be easily pulled out from the frame groove.
- Installation Steps
- For aluminum alloy frames: Use one side of a spline roller (remove or detach the rubber wheel on the other side if necessary) to press the edge of the new window screen firmly into the frame groove.
- After securing the screen, reinsert the rubber splines into the groove to fix the screen in place.
- Trim excess screen material along the frame edge using a utility knife for a neat finish.
- For stainless steel window screens: Apply a thin layer of glass glue along the frame edge before installation to prevent sharp wire ends from scratching surfaces or causing injury.
- Key Installation TipsWhen installing the new screen, first fix one side securely. Then gently tension the opposite side (avoid over-tightening) before sequentially securing the remaining two ends. Excessive tension can lead to frame deformation, compromising both appearance and functionality. Ensure the screen is aligned evenly to maintain structural integrity.
